# What it does

## ❔ Why BlendShot

**Inspired by the renowned Keyshot software, this library was created with the goal of providing Blender artists with a collection of ready-to-use professional content.**

Its purpose is to simplify the creation of excellent renders in a short period of time!

{% hint style="info" %}
**The content is not imported directly from Keyshot, but has been carefully recreated manually, replicating its shape, color, and other details.** For this reason, Keyshot users may notice that the converted materials do not work exactly as they do in the original software. In fact, the two software use different graphics engines that produce results that are not identical, though similar.
{% endhint %}

**As you can see from the images below, I have created an interface that is inspired by that of Keyshot.** The **content library** is on the left, the **timeline** at the bottom center, and the various **material and object properties** on the right. Of course, it is not mandatory to use this setup, but it is just a convenient interface dedicated to **Keyshot fans**.

## 🔷 Faithfully reproduced

The organization of the library is designed to make your work more efficient and allow you to quickly find what you need. If you are accustomed to using Keyshot, you will quickly become comfortable with this library.

BlendShot already offers many of the categories found in Keyshot, and more will be implemented in the future!
